Hope & Trust In God
Proverbs 18:10
The name of The Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:1-4
I love you, LORD; you are my strength.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety.
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Scripture For Today
...But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART "-- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."

-Forgiveness-
Do you know that forgiveness plays a vital part in your natural and spiritual health? Forgiveness can make you... but unforgiveness will most definitely break you.
Unforgiveness is like deadly poison that eats you up from the inside-out. It slowly but surely causes the real you to deteriorate by sucking all of the love, joy and kindness out. The lack of forgiveness puts you in a place of bondage that cannot be broken out of without forgiving. Spiritually, it stunts your growth and proves a lack of maturity. Physically, it shows up on your countenance and makes you look hateful, spiteful and just plain out bad. It is NOT always easy to forgive however it is ALWAYS better and absolutely necessary.
Forgiveness is a powerful and life changing force that has freed many people from miserableness, hatred and even death. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14.
Sometimes we even may have to forgive ourselves from things that we are not so proud of like abortions, not reconciling with a love one before they passed away, unfulfilled dreams, divorce and the list could go on. If there is any unforgiveness in your life I encourage you to let go and let God have it. No it is not easy but remember that it is necessary! Sometimes you may even have to ask The Lord to help you forgive and that's okay because He will do it. Forgiving does not always mean that you will forget but it will free you from anguish and from harborring on the situation. The ultimate example of forgiveness was exemplified by Jesus when He said, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke 22:34. Today, let us follow His pattern by walking in forgiveness.

Word For Today
Psalm 19:8-10
…The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.…
